What is Coaching?

Coaching is a process that supports individuals or groups in achieving their goals and developing specific skills. As a coach, I help clients identify and build on their strengths, overcome obstacles, and create effective strategies for success. This process is based on a collaborative partnership—I do not offer ready-made solutions, but rather guide clients towards self-awareness and discovering their own best paths through thought-provoking questions and a range of practical tools. While this approach may require more effort than quick-fix advice or rigid methods, it leads to deeper, long-lasting results.

In my coaching practice, I primarily use a solution-focused approach, with the option to incorporate deeper modalities such as guided imagery, hypnosis, bodywork, and movement-based techniques.

Solution-Focused Coaching (SFC)

Solution-Focused Coaching is a forward-looking approach that emphasises finding practical and effective ways to achieve goals. Key benefits include:

Faster results – By focusing on clear, achievable goals, clients can experience progress in a shorter timeframe.

A positive approach – Instead of analysing problems and their causes, SFC builds on existing strengths and resources, boosting motivation and optimism.

Increased self-confidence – Clients gain awareness of their own abilities, leading to greater self-belief and resilience.

A clear vision for the future – Creating a concrete and inspiring vision helps with planning and goal-setting.

Practical steps – Coaching sessions define small, actionable steps that lead to measurable progress.

Flexibility & adaptability – The approach can be tailored to each client's unique situation and needs.

Improved problem-solving skills – Clients develop the ability to overcome obstacles and handle challenges effectively.

Support in decision-making – Coaching helps clients make informed choices and take decisive steps toward their goals.
